Brian (he/him/his) grew up in Portland, Oregon and attended Oberlin College for their undergraduate degree in Biology. Their first lab job was working on West Nile Virus under Dr. Mary Garvin. During undergrad they also conducted research on a childhood cancer cluster in Sandusky, OH and played on the Oberlin Men’s Soccer Team.
When not in the lab, Brian can be found jogging, playing soccer, and enjoying other outdoor activities in San Francisco.
