Kaiti Schwartz

Kaiti grew up in Connecticut and attended UCONN, graduating with an undergraduate degree in Biology with a certificate in Cytogenetics.
Her first lab job was working at the University of CO Health Science Center in the Cytogenetics Lab. She continued to do cytogenetics at Bay State Hospital (MA) and Pfizer (CT). Kaiti then moved to Virginia and joined the Gumbiner Lab as Lab Manager/RA, studying C-Cadherin and cancer metastasis. She also worked in the Trimmer Lab studying mitochondrial function in Parkinson's disease. Kaiti then moved to Arizona where she joined the Bussey lab at TGen and studied ACC. Most recently Kaiti worked at Bio-Rad Laboratories as a R&D Scientist in the Antibody Validation group.
When not in the lab Kaiti likes to travel to visit her two daughters and other family, take pottery classes and hike.
