Noah Aquino

Staff Research Associate

Noah grew up in Hercules, CA, and attended San Francisco State University for his undergraduate degree in Microbiology. His first lab job was working on the effects of climate change on the yellow warbler in the Galapagos Islands under Dr. Jaime Chaves. His most recent lab job was working with VGPCR interactions with angiogenic proteins under Dr. Erica Sanchez at San Francisco State University. He recently graduated this May and this will be his first full-time lab position post-graduation.

When not in the lab, Noah can be found taking care of his growing plant collection, playing basketball, watching a movie, or trying new food spots throughout the bay area. Noah is an avid sports fan and is frequently seen supporting the local sports teams, such as the Giants, 49ers, Warriors, and Sharks.
