Shaista Afzal

Shaista grew up in Ripon CA and attended UC Merced for her undergraduate degree in B.S in Human Biology. This is her first lab job! During undergrad she was involved in an immunology and public health lab.

Outside of lab, she loves drawing, baking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
