Sky grew up in Belgium and attended Reed College for his undergraduate degree in biochemistry. His first research job was during his undergrad studying the Xenopus TERT promoter under Dr. Janis Shampay.
Now recently graduated, he is very much looking forward to his first full-time position working with Drs. Ernst and Kutys on Mtb granulomata.
During his undergrad he developed an appreciation for dancing, particularly Argentine tango, which he continues to pursue in and around SF when not in lab, and should you hear someone whistling tunes down the hallway, chances are good it’s him.
